The Great (Fire) Wall Of China

Looks like the repercussions have started.
Following Google's high profile departure from China, people are noticing some pages at google.com have apparently been hacked.
One page in question is the list of Google execs at
http://www.google.com/corporate/execs.html
which first appeared in Chinese but has been fluctuating through various other languages for hours.
Some have suggested the site has been hacked whilst others think it could be DNS shenanigans at the top level domain registries.
Either way, it looks like Google will remain in the spotlight for some time for its withdrawal from China.
Update: Google have said its not a hack but a bug with translation software. Some coincidence, huh?

Been thinking about this one ever since it was reported, it probably means that China is going to be a very long time coming to Google Street View but you can view Hong Kong on it. Google is increasingly opening up our world and China is in the mindset of keeping it closed it was a relationship that was always going to end in divorce.
