Broadcasting on 1Radio
Armed with a show credit, a time slot and some great ideas, you are ready hit the airwaves.
You will need some content in the form of music, pre-recorded speech or podcasts and - most importantly - some enthusiasm.
If you plan to talk live, then you will need a good quality microphone.
To transmit your show, you will need some appropriate software. Most people use Winamp or VirtualDJ to play their MP3s. If you're really into radio, you might use more professional software such as SAM Broadcaster.
We can offer a DJ seat licence for use with SAM Broadcaster on 1Radio. This is signifcantly cheaper than buying a full copy of SAM and lasts for as long as you remain a broadcaster on 1Radio.
