The Christmas Eve Selection

For the first Christmas on 1Radio, I hosted a festive edition of my regular show "The Selection".

It consisted of music, sound clips, parodies, fake phone calls and sketches. I wrote and recorded segments in advance but the show itself was broadcast live.  It became a bit of a tradition and spanned an hour or two either side of midnight on December 24th.

The 2009 edition ended prematurely when when we had a powercut less than 15 minutes into my show. All the houses in the neighbourhood were affected. Power wasn’t restored until sometime during the following day.
